Arminianism, Calvinism and Atheism

The Arminian perspective provides a convincing framework for dismantling the atheist argument against God based on the “problem of evil”

The Problem with Using the Logical Problem of Evil

However, the Calvinist framework seems to only compound the problem of evil and create unnecessary difficulty in defending Christian Theism:

  1. Hello I agree that the logical problem of evil is crappy, but most atheists I know use the evidential problem of evil.
I wrote a response to an atheistic video about this.

As I explained in my series on Calvinism, reformed theologians don’t have this problem. For surely, if God can predetermine countless human beings to eternally suffer, he can as well cause them earthly and temporary suffering.

Calvinists get rid of the problem of evil by denying that God is loving towards all or redefining “love” in a grotesque way.

Otherwise I congratulate you for your blog 🙂

    Lovely greetings from Continental Europe.
